Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, or addiction, or just inspired to work more deeply on your personal growth, I offer a range of approaches for healing. Interventions include mindfulness-based psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, hypnosis, and Enneagram.

As a yoga instructor, I offer private yoga instruction designed to ease emotional distress. I teach meditation to empower clients to calm their minds and access their own wisdom.

I offer mindfulness training to individual and groups, and am co-founder of The Mindful Living Institute.

Paula Graham thinks of herself as a musculoskeletal detective working with clients to resolve soft tissue pain, injuries and range of motion limitations. A 2002 graduate of Fuller School of Massage, Paula has expanded on that training by taking advanced courses in neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, active isolated stretching, and myoskeletal alignment technique. She is currently pursuing certification in orthopedic massage, as well as neuromuscular therapy. Both of these specialties focus on assessment and systematic treatment of soft tissue dysfunction to identify and resolve the source of pain quickly. Paula was drawn to this work after treating people who think that they have to live with pain and curtail their activities after finding no relief in the western medical system. Although there are no “magic” cures, Paula doesn’t give up easily.

Because we all need to relax and muscles need maintenance, even when they aren’t hurting, Paula also offers general therapeutic massage in addition to her specific injury treatments.

In her spare time, Paula is a competitive racewalker, an active member of the Tidewater Striders Running/Walking/Multisport Club, makes handmade paper, and is an avid gardener.

Mae Dozier is a Master of Wirkus Bioenergy and has studied Bioenergy with Mietek and Margaret Wirkus since 1997.
What is Bioenergy? Margaret Wirkus wrote the following: “We are all built from two components – biochemical matter and energy.  The energy that animates the bodies of humans and animals is known as bioenergy – the energy of life. This force surrounds every cell like a miniature wire, providing a blueprint for the physical body and also serving as a medium for the flow of information throughout the body. Bioenergy also extends outside of the physical body, creating low frequency electromagnetic fields around us (as well as other subtle energy fields not yet recognized by science). In a larger context, bioenergy is an inseparable component of the Universal Energy.

Monday, 4:30-5:45pm, Yoga for Special Needs with Karima Melody Lubich

Join us for a gentle yoga class designed to support the needs of those with various physical challenges such as MS or Parkinson’s. This is a regular floor yoga class which focuses on simple postures, breath work, and relaxation.  A chair is set up by each participants mat in order to facilitate an easier transition to the mat.  Once on the mat, we focus on postures designed to increase and enhance strength, balance, and flexibility.

If you feel unable to keep up in a regular yoga class, this may be the class for you.  It is designed to support each participant's needs within the group environment, as we all work to increase our strength and our stability.

Pre-registration required; class size limited to 5.
Contact Karima for more info or to register at (757) 313-4962.
